Focus
To support local non-profit projects that bring aggregated benefits to food producers through:
Education: training, certifications, and specialty workshops.
Well-being: access to healthcare, mental health services, and wellness resources.
Shared Infrastructure: solutions to systemic hurdles, improving productivity, market access, advertising and promotion and financial advising.
Climate resilience: emergency response, natural disaster prevention and mitigation, advocacy and solutions.
Process
An annual budget for Resilience Grants is determined by SOIL Boulder members.
SOIL Boulder members nominate local non-profit projects.
The Resilience Grant Committee (RGC) extends invitations to qualified nominees to apply.
Applications are reviewed by RGC.
Grants are awarded to applicants that demonstrate:
Aggregated benefits to local producers
Thoughtful and actionable budget and planning
Agricultural community ties and collaboration
Engagement and storytelling
